  • Monthly Subscriptions: For monthly subscription plans, we offer a 7-day money-back guarantee from the date of initial subscription. If you are not satisfied with our services within this period, you may request a full refund. After the initial 7-day period, monthly subscriptions are non-refundable for the current billing cycle.
  • Annual Subscriptions: For annual subscription plans, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of initial subscription. If you are not satisfied with our services within this period, you may request a full refund. After the initial 14-day period, annual subscriptions may be eligible for a prorated refund of the unused portion, less a 15% administrative fee.

2.2 Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our customer support team. Upon cancellation:

  • For monthly subscriptions, your access will continue until the end of the current billing cycle, and you will not be charged for subsequent billing cycles.
  • For annual subscriptions, your access will continue until the end of the current subscription period, unless you request a prorated refund as described above.

Please note that simply canceling a subscription does not automatically qualify you for a refund. You must specifically request a refund according to the terms outlined in this policy.

3. Research Reports and One-Time Purchases

ESG Invest Canada offers individual research reports and other one-time purchase products. The following refund terms apply to these purchases:

  • Digital Reports and Downloads: Due to the nature of digital content, all purchases of downloadable research reports, guides, and other digital content are final and non-refundable once the content has been accessed or downloaded.
  • Pre-order/Upcoming Reports: If you pre-order a report that has not yet been released, you may request a full refund at any time before the report is delivered.
  • Quality Guarantee: If you believe a purchased report contains significant factual errors or is substantially not as described, you may submit a detailed explanation within 7 days of purchase for our review. If we determine that the report does not meet our quality standards, we may issue a full or partial refund at our discretion.

4. Consulting Services and Custom Research

ESG Invest Canada provides consulting services and custom research projects for clients with specific needs. The following refund terms apply to these services:

  • Deposits and Retainers: Deposits and retainers for consulting services are generally non-refundable as they secure our time and resources for your project.
  • Milestone Payments: For projects with milestone payments, payments made for completed milestones are non-refundable.
  • Project Cancellation: If you need to cancel a project before completion, you may be eligible for a partial refund of any prepaid amounts for work not yet performed, less any expenses already incurred and a 20% administrative fee.

All consulting services and custom research projects are governed by individual contracts that may contain specific refund terms. In the event of a conflict between this Refund Policy and the terms of an individual contract, the terms of the contract will prevail.

5. Events and Webinars

5.1 Live Webinars and Online Events

For live webinars and online events, the following refund policy applies:

  • Full refund available if canceled 7 or more days before the event date.
  • 50% refund if canceled between 3-6 days before the event date.
  • No refund for cancellations within 48 hours of the event.

If you are unable to attend a live webinar or online event, you may transfer your registration to another person at no additional cost, or you may request access to the recorded version when available.

5.2 In-Person Events and Conferences

For in-person events and conferences, the following refund policy applies:

  • Full refund available if canceled 14 or more days before the event date.
  • 50% refund if canceled between 7-13 days before the event date.
  • No refund for cancellations within 7 days of the event.

In case of event cancellation by ESG Invest Canada, attendees will be offered either a full refund or credit toward a future event, at their choice.

6. Exceptions and Special Circumstances

6.1 Technical Issues

If you experience technical issues that significantly impair your ability to access or use our paid services, please contact our customer support team immediately. We will work to resolve the issue promptly. If we are unable to resolve the technical issue within a reasonable time frame, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund at our discretion.

6.2 Service Interruptions

In the event of extended service interruptions or downtime (exceeding 24 consecutive hours) that are within our control, we may offer prorated refunds or service credits for the affected period. Such refunds will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

6.3 Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that exceptional circumstances may arise. If you are seeking a refund outside of the terms outlined in this policy due to extraordinary circumstances (such as serious illness, natural disaster, or other force majeure events), please contact our customer service team with relevant documentation. Such refund requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

8. Processing Time for Refunds

Once a refund has been approved and processed by our team, please be aware that it may take additional time for the funds to appear in your account:

  • Credit card refunds typically take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your card issuer.
  • Bank transfers may take 3-5 business days to process.
  • PayPal refunds are usually processed within 1-3 business days.
